Is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (FDUL), legal expert and arbitrator in the areas of civil law and commercial law, including commercial contracts, M&A, company, securities, banking and insolvency law.

José Ferreira Gomes holds a PhD in Law from the FDUL (2014), an LL.M. from Columbia University in New York (2004) and a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (2001).
